Generally, the treatment method of acid and alkali industrial wastewater is: for acid and alkali wastewater with high concentration (containing more than 3%~5% acid and alkali), recycling and comprehensive utilization should be considered first; When the recovery or comprehensive utilization of low concentration acid and alkali wastewater is of little significance, neutralization treatment should be carried out before discharge to restore the pH value to a certain range near neutral (pH 5-9). Steel barrel production wastewater belongs to low concentration wastewater, which is generally treated by neutralization method. 1、 Treatment process and method the process of using chemical agents to make the pH value of wastewater reach about neutral is called neutralization treatment. Common neutralization methods are as follows. 1. The comprehensive method of acid and alkali wastewater is a simple and economical method of treating waste with waste. This method is to introduce acid and alkali wastewater into the neutralization tank and mix and stir. The volume of neutralization tank shall be considered as 1.5~2.0h of wastewater. This method is applicable to the situation that there are both alkaline water and acidic water in the wastewater generated during production. For example, in the pretreatment of new steel barrel coating, there are two processes of acid pickling and rust removal and alkaline washing and oil removal. The wastewater generated by these two processes can be used for medium benefit, and the effect of waste treatment is also very good. 2. The neutralizing agents of the acid wastewater of the reagent neutralization method include lime, caustic soda, sodium carbonate, limestone, carbide slag, boiler ash and waste slag of the softening station, etc; Neutralizing agents for alkaline wastewater include sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and acid waste gas. The dosage of neutralizing agent is determined according to the pH of wastewater measured by experiment and is also of great significance in safety work. Lime is the most commonly used neutralizer for acidic water. It can not only neutralize acidic wastewater of any concentration, but also produce calcium hydroxide with coagulation. Lime can be added in two ways: wet and wet. The dry dosing method is to evenly add the crushed quicklime directly into the water, and the wet dosing method is to digest the quicklime into a concentration of 40% - 50% in the digestion tank, then acid it into a Ca (OH) 2 lotion of 5% - 10%, and add it to the water for mixing. Mixing and reaction are completed in one pool. 3. The filtration neutralization method uses limestone and marble (Caco2) as filter materials to let acidic wastewater pass through the filter layer, and the method of mixing water is called filtration neutralization tank and drum neutralization tank. The selection of filter material is closely related to the solubility of neutralization products. The neutralization reaction of the filter material takes place on the surface of the particles. If the solubility of the neutralization product is very small, an insoluble hard shell will be formed on the surface of the filter material particles to prevent the continuation of the neutralization reaction and make the neutralization reaction treatment fail. Therefore, according to the composition and treatment capacity of acid wastewater, the filter material and filter structure can be appropriately selected to achieve the best treatment effect. 2、 The wastewater treatment facility adopts neutralization method to treat steel barrel production wastewater.
